Stewards spoke to Mr J Holt regarding the racing manners of I'm Cheeky in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr J Holt, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections.

Vanessa Bale - racing manners home straight and underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr J Palma regarding Vanessa Bale’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Vanessa Bale was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr J Palma pleaded guilty to the charge. Vanessa Bale was suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and must perform a  Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Daisy May was quick to begin. Guifted Fatith went up with the lids at box rise and slow to begin. Stewards noted the muzzle of Gifted Faith became partially dislodged during the running of the event.

Sassy Skye – Late scratching at 6.09am when Mr. Mark Giddings reported the greyhound to have a virus (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.

Aston Beaufort - checked and stumbled first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left traingle muscle injury and laceration to the left metatarsal. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Van Dieman - checked and lost ground home turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left tricep muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Lary Intention – Late scratching at 12.38pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to a left stopper injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Leathan regarding Crackerjack Pa's performence in the concluding stages of the event . In accordance with GAR 122, the Stewards requested Mr. Leathan to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Crackerjack Pa in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
