Steward's Report
Zarally was a late scratching at 1.47pm due to illness. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Albo Gold was slow to begin. Butterbean crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Lightning Tess and Tuncurry Kiwi. Rock Legend contacted the running rail approaching the first turn and lost considerable ground as a result. Spit Fire Strike, Lightning Tess and Albo Gold collided approaching the home turn checking Albo Gold and severely checking Lightning Tess. Rock Legend and Lightning Tess collided several times approaching the home turn and again in the home straight checking Lightning Tess.
Lightning Tess was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
