The Stewards were advised that the track was deeply harrowed on 26 January 2025.

Ultimate Lexi was quick to begin. Gone For Good was slow to begin.
Gone For Good (marred Ultimate Lexi turning into the home straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Grant Masterson regarding Gone For Good's racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Gone For Good was charged with marring. Mr. Masterson pleaded guilty to the charge. Gone For Good was suspended for three months (3rd offence) at all tracks and must perform two satisfactory trials in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Stewards noted that the incorrect winning time of 30.738 initially appeared on the semaphore board - the actual win time was 30.583.
