Bravo was quick to begin. Mepunga Melachi, Where's Ray and Dashing Red Girl were slow to begin. Where's Ray checked off Daintree Empress soon after the start. Dashing Red Girl checked off Mepunga Melachi on the first turn and contacted the running rail as a result. Bravo and Reynard's King collided approaching the home turn.
