Stewards spoke to Mr Mark Keane regarding Synchronised’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Synchronised was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment by reason of injury. Mr Mark Keane pleaded guilty to the charge. Synchronised was found guilty and  must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Rhinehart severely checked first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg spike wound injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Wade Green regarding the racing manners of Distracting on the home turn..  After hearing evidence from Mr Wade Green, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.

Moraine Mario racing manners home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Peter Fulton regarding the racing manners of Moraine Mario in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Mr Peter Fulton, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.

Fentons Rise severely checked approaching home turn, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg spike wound. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

A post–race sample was taken from Crymelon Ivy – the winner of the event.  

Two Hat Pat was quick to begin. Crooked Shadows was slow to begin.

Head Bin was slow to begin.

Head Bin checked and lost ground approaching home turn, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg pencil muscle injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Aston Plus – Late scratching at 2.06pm due to weight variation (GAR 101). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr G Campbell was fined $100.

Stewards spoke to Mr M Giddings regarding his conduct exiting the boxes post race. A warning for inappropriate behaviour was issued pursuant to GAR 165(a).

A sample was taken from Inga Linda in accordance with GAR 79 (1), having been presented for a satisfactory trial.
