Steward's Report
Rock The Casbah was quick to begin.
Frank Light Year (turned head inwards and marred Rock The Casbah in the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a abrasion to the left radius. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr. G. Smith regarding Frank Light Year’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Frank Light Year was charged with marring. Mr. Smith pleaded guilty to the charge and Frank Light Year was suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
