Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from So Reckless.
Ramblin' Man and Solar Revel were slow to begin.
So Reckless underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury. Trainer Mr. L. Scott declined the option to have the greyhound re–examined.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr. L. Scott regarding So Reckless’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124 So Reckless was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Scott pleaded guilty to the charge and So Reckless was suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post–race sample was taken from Jayville Flynn – the winner of the event.
