Skyfire was quick to begin. Central Road, Quick Kisses and Pocket Kings were slow to begin. Quick Kisses and Bing's Bro collided soon after the start. Kerser, Quick Kisses and Vintage Daicos collided on the first turn. Kerser and Vintage Daicos collided approaching the second turn. Central Road checked off Don't Be Short entering the back straight checking Pocket Kings. Skyfire galloped on the heels of Bing's Bro on the third turn checking both greyhounds. Don't Be Short checked off Bing's Bro in the home straight. Bing's Bro checked off Skyfire approaching the winning post.
