Burst A Move, Mr. Smart, Yellowrock Blaze and Flaming Homer were slow to begin. Cotchinator, Mr. Smart and Lilly Bolero collided soon after the start checking Mr. Smart. Mr. Smart checked off Flaming Homer on the first turn. Cotchinator and Yellowrock Blaze collided approaching the home turn checking Cotchinator. Yellowrock Blaze and Flaming Homer collided approaching the home turn.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr David Jensen, the handler of Mr. Smart regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn.
Mr. Smart was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury.
