Steward's Report
Mighty Hulk was a late scratching at 6.15pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to fever. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
A pre race sample was taken from Over Limit.
Hallelujah Henry was slow to begin. Mohinga Max and Sofa So Good collided approaching the first turn checking Sofa So Good. Yakamov Bale and There's A Earn collided on the first turn. Sofa So Good and Yakamov Bale collided approaching the home turn. Yakamov Bale eased entering the home straight.
Yakamov Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained Thumps otherwise no apparent injury.
Stewards spoke to Mr A Julian, the handler of the greyhound Yakamov Bale. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Yakamov Bale with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment and suspended the greyhound for 28 days Shepparton and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
