Steward's Report
The start of this race was delayed by approximately 2 minutes due to an error with the Judges equipment. This was rectified prior to the start of the race.
Model Hook was quick to begin. Elite Tornado was slow to begin. Arvo's Violet, Can Of Coke, Arvo's Texan and Vivacious Chick collided on the first turn checking Arvo's Texan and Can Of Coke. Vivacious Chick and Can Of Coke collided approaching the home turn checking Can Of Coke. Model Hook and Francol collided on the home turn checking Francol and severely checking Elite Tornado and Aiden Baxter; Aiden Baxter stumbled, collided with the outside fence and tailed off as a result. Elite Tornado raced wide in the home straight.
Vivacious Chick was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained minor lacerations to it's left and right hind legs. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
