Steward's Report
Cyclone Sophie – Late scratching at 10:59am due to weight variation (GAR 101). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mrs. Leonie Dalton was fined $100.00.
Ziggy Boy, Hot Cross and Thunder Struck were slow to begin.
Hot Cross shifted out and raced ungenerous approaching the winning post. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Joe Uglietta regarding the racing manners of Hot Cross. After hearing submissions from Mr. Uglietta, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post.
