A pre-race sample was taken from Wolf.
Blackpool Jewel and Talk Out Loud were quick to begin. Uriana Bale and Jet Fighter were slow to begin.
Uriana Bale marred Blackpool Jewel in the home straight. Uriana Bale underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Alfio Giacca regarding Uriana Bale's racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Uriana Bale was charged with marring. Mr. Giacca pled guilty to the charge. Uriana Bale was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
