Steward's Report
Samples were taken from Thunder Pie, Hot Cross, Nicko Boom and Spring Blazer upon arrival at the course.
Pre race samples were taken from Aston Texan and Jocularity.
Hot Cross and Nicko Boom were slow to begin.
Spring Blazer - Stewards spoke to representative Brian Fothergill regarding Spring Blazer's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Spring Blazer was charged with marring. Mr Fothergill pleaded guilty to the charge, and Spring Blazer was suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
