Maximum Jane (lost ground entering the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. 

It's Luigi - underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr S.Webb via telephone regarding the racing manners of It's Luigi in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr Webb, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.

Shatter (turned its head outwards in the home straight) a post–race veterinary examination found an injury to left shoulder muscle and right triangle muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Lee More regarding Shatter’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Shatter was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Moore pleaded not guilty, however Shatter was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A sample was taken from Mr. Straight One upon arrival at the course.

Pre–race samples were taken from Raja Ampat and Annie Blast.

A post–race sample was taken from Sonic Trooper –  the winner of the event. 

Miss Bluey – Turned in the boxes, took no competitive part in the race and was placed on a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 106 (1), pursuant to GAR 132. A post-race veterinary examination revealed mild soreness to the thoraco-lumbar. A 5 day stand down period was issued.

Mt View Sublime underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a sore on both stifles. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr T.Whitford regarding the racing manners of Mt. View Sublime in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr Whitford, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.

A post–race sample was taken from Twilight Blaze –  the winner of the event. 

Samples were taken from Thunder Pie, Hot Cross, Nicko Boom and Spring Blazer upon arrival at the course.

Pre race samples were taken from Aston Texan and Jocularity.

Hot Cross and Nicko Boom were slow to begin.

Spring Blazer - Stewards spoke to representative Brian Fothergill regarding Spring Blazer's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Spring Blazer was charged with marring. Mr Fothergill pleaded guilty to the charge, and Spring Blazer was suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Samples were taken from Lightning Lyn, Regenerate and Inter Buzz Along upon arrival at the course.

Pursuant to GAR 75(6) Starter Ricky Glass did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.

Hazelnut - underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left pencil muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. The frequency of racing was discussed with representative Jye Formosa, the comments were noted.
