Deadly Boy crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Ice Contractor, Rinash and Wild Last Stress. Ice Contractor and Peebo's Will collided several times approaching the first turn. Inventor checked off Deadly Boy on the first turn checking Ice Cossack, Peebo's Will and Ice Contractor and severely checking Black Beard and Wild Last Stress. Ice Contractor checked off Black Beard approaching the home turn.
Stewards spoke to handler Mr. N. Daniell regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Ice Cossack. Stewards directed that Ice Cossack be boxed first in future events.
