Bela Safira and Hashtag Jordan collided approaching the first turn checking Bela Safira. Bela Safira and Ate Grand Kids collided on the first turn. Master Tron and Kobyetta collided on the first turn severely checking Kobyetta. Hashtag Jordan checked off Master Tron approaching the home turn checking Bela Safira. Kobyetta crossed to the outside entering the home straight checking Hashtag Jordan, Stolen Gem and Ate Grand Kids causing all three greyhounds to race wide. Ate Grand Kids and Hashtag Jordan collided in the home straight.

Cosmic Cyclone, Bush Rebel, Bella Lestrange and Tantrum Tommy collided approaching the first turn checking Bella Lestrange and Tantrum Tommy. Bella Lestrange checked off Avatar Girl approaching the first turn. Bella Lestrange and Avatar Girl collided approaching the home turn checking Avatar Girl. Cosmic Cyclone and Tantrum Tommy collided entering the home straight.

Luna Ash and Miss Bo Wicked were slow to begin. 

Arolok Jane, Sarsha, Peebo and Buckle Up Axel collided soon after the start checking Peebo, Buckle Up Axel and Miss Bo Wicked. Miss Bo Wicked and Peebo collided approaching the first turn. Maverick Blondie and Sarsha collided on the first turn checking Maverick Blondie, Sarsha, Miss Bo Wicked and Peebo. Arolok Jane and Arolok Molly collided on the second turn. Sarsha crossed to the rail on the second turn checking Maverick Blondie and Luna Ash. Buckle Up Axel and Arolok Molly collided in the back straight. Miss Bo Wicked checked off Sarsha on the home turn checking Peebo. Luna Ash checked off Arolok Molly in the home straight.

Judges inadvertently semaphored the numbers 6, 3, (dead heat for third) 7 and 12. The numbers were corrected to 6, 3, (dead heat for third), 7 and 2. 

Arolok Molly, which tired over the concluding stages on the event, was vetted. It was reported that there was no apparent injury. Stewards spoke to the trainer of the greyhound, Mr. P. Riches regarding the greyhound's performance in the home straight. Mr. Riches stated that it was the greyhound's first start over the 650m. Stewards noted the explanation. 

Deadly Boy crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Ice Contractor, Rinash and Wild Last Stress. Ice Contractor and Peebo's Will collided several times approaching the first turn. Inventor checked off Deadly Boy on the first turn checking Ice Cossack, Peebo's Will and Ice Contractor and severely checking Black Beard and Wild Last Stress. Ice Contractor checked off Black Beard approaching the home turn. 

Stewards spoke to handler Mr. N. Daniell regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Ice Cossack. Stewards directed that Ice Cossack be boxed first in future events.

Peter Pettigrew Slipaway Kessa and Voight were slow to begin. 

Dyna Ping crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Black Cadel, Monaco Rose and Riley's Planet. Riley's Planet, Monaco Rose and Black Cadel collided approaching the first turn checking Black Cadel. Slipaway Kessa galloped on the heels of Black Cadel on the first turn severely checking Black Cadel. Peter Pettigrew raced wide in the home straight.

Wattle Grove crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Why Not Wayne and Cornelius Fudge. Sahara and Flossy Thelly collided approaching the first turn checking Flossy Thelly. Boris Bekim and Cornelius Fudge collided approaching the home turn checking Boris Bekim. Boris Bekim checked off Sahara in the home straight. Cornelius Fudge and Wattle Grove collided in the home straight checking Wattle Grove.

Claretown Bart and Fearsome Mint collided soon after the start. Bally Abbie checked off Santa Storm approaching the first turn. Sultan Of Swing, Bally Abbie, Elite Stress and Fearsome Mint collided on the first turn checking Sultan Of Swing. Bally Abbie and Claretown Bart collided approaching the home turn. Santa Storm and Elite Stress collided on the home turn, Santa Storm raced wide as a result. Elite Stress eased on the home turn and collided with Santa Storm. Elite Stress eased in the home straight. 

Elite Stress was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right pencil muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Quinn the representative of the greyhound Elite Stress. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Elite Stress with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment and suspended the greyhound for 28 days Ballarat and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Novacorum checked off Team Player on the first turn severely checking Novacorum and Audreana. Team Player checked off High Alimony approaching the home turn. True Genius checked off Zoe approaching the home turn and collided with High Alimony as a result. High Alimony and Team Player collided in the home straight.
