Steward's Report
Go Grumpy was a late scratching at 16:20 hrs after trainer, Mr. P. Mckenzie reported the greyhound was ill. Mr. Mckenzie also presented a veterinary certificate dated today confirming the illness. A ten day stand down period was imposed.
The start of this race was delayed by approximately 10 minutes due to a problem with the lure.
Eddy Betz Keats was slow to begin. Blue Flute, Eddy Betz Keats and Parumba Corvette collided soon after the start checking Parumba Corvette. Beyond Brooklyn and Blue Flute collided approaching the first turn checking Beyond Brooklyn.
