Steward's Report
Connor Flynn Jet and Flying Bessie were quick to begin. Groovin' and Psycho Buddy were slow to begin.
Flying Bessie (visibly eased turning off the back straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triceps injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Troy Dorrington regarding Flying Bessie's racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Flying Bessie was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Dorrington pleaded not guilty to the charge. Flying Bessie was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Stewards received a report that the muzzle of Get On Gizmo had become dislodged.
