Steward's Report
A sample was taken from White Snow, Hurrican Gypsy and Super Snowy upon arrival at the course.
Pre-race samples were taken from Inter Punch and Hot Asia.
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Black Sprinkles; a post-race sample was subsequently taken.
Inter Punch and Why Not Emily were slow to begin.
Inter Punch turned its head in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have right hamstring muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative, Miss E Franklin regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Inter Punch was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Miss Franklin pled guilty to the charge, Inter Punch was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
