Steward's Report
A sample was taken from Dragon Inn upon arrival at the course.
Crackerjack Boom was quick to begin. Supply Chain, Modern Swinger and Voice Of Thunder were slow to begin,
Extreme Force underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr. Aaron Debattista regarding Extreme Force's racing manners turning out of the back straight. Mr. Debattista put forward to Stewards that he believed the reason for Extreme Force losing ground and handing up the lead on the turn may have been due to the greyhound having its heels clipped. After viewing all the available race footage and acting on their own observations, Stewards could not be comfortably satisfied that the greyhound had breached any of the relevant Rules of Racing and subsequently gave Extreme Force the benefit of the doubt on this occasion. No further action was taken.
