Steward's Report
Way Up North was quick to begin.
Mr Peter Dunlevey failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Where's Lesley for racing. A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 97(2).
Emma's Image turned it's head and visably eased several times in the home straight. Trainer, Mr Michael Chilcott declined the option to have the greyhound vetted.
Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Michael Chilcott regarding Emma's Image’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124 Emma's Image was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Chilcott pled guilty to the charge, Emma's Image was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
