Prince Of Egypt turned it's head outwards in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race 4, no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to kennel representative Ms. Ashlee Beecher regarding Prince Of Egypt’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124 Prince Of Egypt was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms. Beecher pled guilty to the charge, Prince Of Egypt was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post-race sample was taken from Ha Hanna - the winner of the event.

Zar Zar Bing was quick to begin. Crawl Back and Queen Zipper were slow to begin.

Inter Barty turned it's head outwards approaching the winning post, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Tony Interligi regarding Inter Barty’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Inter Barty was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Interligi pled not guilty to the charge, Inter Barty was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Targan Bale and Persuasion were quick to begin. Gethsemane and Aussie Annie were slow to begin.

Mr. Ronald Cameron failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Enraged for racing. A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 97(2).

Enraged was slow to begin.

Rogue Temptation and Summer Daze were quick to begin. Lamont Bale, Specter Litt and Bigsy were slow to begin.

Lamont Bale was severely checked and fell in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Specter Litt faltered shortly after the start and took no competitive part in the event. Specter Litt underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Chasing Honey was severely checked and fell entering the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Havoc's Legacy collapsed after an incident in the catching pen and was pronounced deceased by the On–Track Veterinarian due to head trauma and subsequent haemorrhaging.

Moon Dragon was quick to begin. Establishment, Bankrupt and No Return were slow to begin.

Lilly's Stripey was severely checked and fell entering the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a metatarsal fracture on the right hindleg. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Hurricane Gypsy – The frequency of racing was discussed with Victoria Sultana, the comments were noted.

Tuzla Bale – The frequency of racing was discussed with Tammy Kennedy-Harris, the comments were noted.

Zipping Winslet, Metro Boomin', Chasing Thunder and Tuzla Bale were slow to begin.

Tuzla Bale underwent a post–race veterinary examination due to the frequency of racing. No apparent injury was reported.
