Mi Amigo Tequila and Kippy Bale were quick to begin.
Collinda Chips and My Mate Damien were slow to begin.
Juliet Keeping visible eased and turned its head inwards approaching the winning post, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hock sprain and right groin muscle injuries. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Ms. Deborah Coleman regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Juliet Keeping was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms. Coleman pled guilty to the charge, Juliet Keeping was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
