Mt. View Jewel – Late scratching at 13:43pm due to the greyhound being on season GAR 77. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Wood Carrier was quick to begin.
Crystal Edition (faltered at the 300m mark) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right groin injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Neville Bischard regarding the racing manners of Head Bin on the first turn. After hearing submissions from Mr. Bischard, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
