Omega Hondo was very slow to begin (5 lengths).

I'm Waiting turned its head to the inside soon after the start, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Jacob Biddell regarding I'm Waiting’s racing manners soon after the start. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, I'm Waiting was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Biddell pled guilty to the charge, I'm Waiting was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Pinned Hearts crossed out on the home turn, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hamstring injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms Nicole Lund regarding the racing manners of Pinned Hearts on the home turn. After hearing submissions from Ms. Lund, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn. 

Akina Adonis was quick to begin. Acapulco and Master Eduardo were slow to begin. 

Cinderella Story underwent a post-race veterinary examination following an incident in the catching pen and was found to have injuries to the right groin and right shin. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.  

A pre–race sample was taken from Chasing Her Tail.

Chasing Her Tail was quick to begin. Drinking Shiraz was slow to begin.

A pre–race sample was taken from Soda Felix.

The start was delayed by approximately 1 minute due to the removal of ducks from the back straight.

Calypso Queen was quick to begin.  Dr. Valor and Wadelock Harry were slow to begin.

This event was delayed by approximately 2 minutes due to a race meeting at Selangor.

A pre–race sample was taken from Catch The Outlaw.

Hurricane Daisy was quick to begin. Sweet Lola was slow to begin.

Stewards spoke to Mr Adrian Nuttall, the handler of Catch The Outlaw and reminded him of his responsibilities to ensure all unapproved gear is removed when preparing a greyhound for racing.

Devil's Spirit visibly eased on the home turn and marred Chasing Poppy in the home straight. Devil's Spirit underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Gary McMillan regarding Devil's Spirit’s racing manners from the home turn to the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Devil's Spirit was charged with marring. Mr. McMillan pled guilty to the charge, Devil's Spirit was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Traralgon and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted. 

How High Austin – Late scratching at 13:31 due to weight variation (GAR 101). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr Lui Forte was fined $100.

Bonnie Gem, Style Key and Whippy Flash were quick to begin. Dr. Renzo and Elswyk Shadow were slow to begin.

A post-race sample was taken from Whippy Flash - the winner of the event. 

Finlayston – New declared weight of 34.0kg, last raced at 32.8kg.

Bomber's Smokey was quick to begin. Just Admit It and Finlaystone were slow to begin.

Dr. Bambi – 6 month - Field of 3, Distance 350m, Weight 27.2kg, Box 7, Placed 3rd, Time Run 21.23 – Comment: Not Cleared - did not meet time standard.
