Braemar Wallace – Underwent a kennelling veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Late scratching at 2:26pm due to weight variation (GAR 101). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Ms Yvonne Cassidy was fined $100.00.
Devon Lass was quick to begin. Drop A Line was slow to begin. Nibiru was very slow to begin (3 lengths).
Count Me In faltered soon after the start and subsequently pulled up, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left and right back muscles. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Devon Lass - the winner of the event.
