Steward's Report
Crispy Pie fell after the winning post, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock sprain. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Change failed to enter the catching pen, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left chest injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Gary McMillan regarding Change not entering the catching pen. After hearing submissions from Mr. McMillan, considering the extenuating circumstances surrounding the incident, and acting on their own observations, Stewards elected to take no further action.
A post-race sample was taken from Crispy Pie - the winner of the event.
