Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Cleo's Neo.
Next Teardrop was quick to begin. Mow A Meadow and Grayden were slow to begin.
Cleo's Neo was severely checked by Guster Bale and Connor Man approaching the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a split webbing to the left hindleg. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Matthew Clark regarding the racing manners of Cleo's Neo approaching the first turn. After hearing submissions from Mr. Clark, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.
