Steward's Report
El Cazador was slow to begin.
El Cazador fell on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a sore right shoulder. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
A post–race sample was taken from Storm Stroller – the winner of the event.
Due to El Cazador falling on the first turn, then running onwards to the back straight before turning around and running back the wrong way, the lure driver pulled the lure up in the catching pen (like a finish-on style finish) in accordance with GRV's Safety Procedures. All greyhounds handlers/trainers were offered the opportunity of a veterinary examination.
