Steward's Report
A pre–race sample was taken from Scott To Burn.
Blackpool Ryan and Blackpool Hank were quick to begin.
Electra Glide visibly eased and turned its head outwards on the home turn, underwent a post-race veterinary examination, was re-examined following Race 5 and was found to have a right-fore sesamoid injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mr. Ronald McCullagh regarding Electra Glide's racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Electra Glide was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. McCullagh pleaded not guilty to the charge, Electra Glide was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
