Charlotte Dream was quick to begin. Speedy Quokka was slow to begin.
Moraine Marco raced ungenerously approaching the winning post, underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Trainer, Mr. Peter Fulton declined a veterinary re-examination. Stewards spoke to Mr. Fulton regarding Moraine Marco’s performance and racing manners approaching the winning post. After hearing submissions from Mr. Fulton, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Moraine Marco unsatisfactory. Moraine Marco must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
