Pouncing Penny – Late scratching at 11:18am due to the greyhound being on season [GAR 76 or 77]. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Aston Pernille was slow to begin.
Bob Pervails underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound and bruising to the left front metacarpal. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Clint Colaiacovo regarding the racing manners of Bob Pervails soon after the start. After hearing submissions from Mr Colaiacovo, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
