Dr. Xian and Dr. Linda May were slow to begin.
Lakeview Lottie visibly eased and turned its head inwards in the home straight underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Ms Holly Thompson declined the option to have the greyhound re–vetted. Stewards spoke to Ms Thompson regarding Lakeview Lottie’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124 Lakeview Lottie was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms Thompson pled guilty to the charge, Lakeview Lottie was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sale and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
