We Dance – Late scratching at 11:02 am when Mr Justin Bowman reported the greyhound to have Illness-Diarrhoea (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
Romarosa – New declared weight of 28.8 kg, last raced at 29.9 kg.
A pre-race sample was taken from Show Queen.
Dessert Girl was quick to begin.
Romarosa contacted the running rail in home turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising to the left thigh and abraded paw pad to the left hindleg. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
