Catch On, Speedway Stuey and Paddy's Hero were slow to begin. Chloe's Creek and Pattimore Power collided approaching the first turn. Paddy's Hero, Duke's Revenge and Our Danny Boy collided approaching the first turn checking Duke's Revenge. Speedway Stuey and Pattimore Power collided on the first turn severely checking Pattimore Power. Duke's Revenge checked off Catch On approaching the home turn. Speedway Stuey, Duke's Revenge and Pattimore Power raced wide in the home straight.

Pattimore Power was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike would to its left hind toe, no stand down period was imposed.
