Riverdale Brandy and Telling You were slow to begin. Go Heaven Leigh and Lee Larni collided soon after the start. Mepunga Lana and Thunder Path collided approaching the first turn. Mepunga Lana, Thunder Path, Go Heaven Leigh and Lee Larni collided approaching the first turn checking Riverdale Brandy. Jam Up clipped the heels of Lee Larni approaching the first turn. Mepunga Lana and Thunder Path collided on the first turn causing Thunder Path to fall checking Mepunga Lana, Telling You and severely checking Riverdale Brandy, Go Heaven Leigh and Jam Up; Go Heaven Leigh and Jam Up raced wide and lost considerable ground. Mepunga Lana and Telling You collided on the second turn. Telling You checked off Lee Larni approaching the home turn.
Thunder Path was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazes to the right hind, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.
