Punch It was quick to begin. Demon Bomber, Jay's Spirit and Yardbird were slow to begin. Hey Roseeta and Dargo Street collided several times approaching the first turn. Demon Bomber, Hey Roseeta and Dargo Street collided approaching the first turn. Dewana Fusion galloped on Punch It on the third turn severely checking Punch It which lost ground. Demon Bomber checked off Punch It on the home turn.
Punch It was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right triangle injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
