Steward's Report
Uno Hillbilly was slow to begin. So Confused crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Uno Hillbilly and Clumsy Tank. Spyware and Oh Leary collided soon after the start checking Spyware. Uno Hillbilly, Clumsy Tank and Spyware collided on the first turn checking Clumsy Tank and Spyware. Just Call Me and Oh Leary collided approaching the home turn. So Confused raced wide on the home turn. Oh Leary eased approaching the winning post.
Oh Leary was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right and left chest muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Steward's spoke to Mr. J. Mallon the trainer of the greyhound Oh Leary. Stewards deemed the performance of Oh Leary unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71 Stewards directed that Oh Leary must perform a satisfactory trial all tracks before any future nomination will be accepted.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr. J. Mallon the trainer of Oh Leary regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.
