Steward's spoke to Mr. J. Mallon the trainer of the greyhound Oh Leary.  Stewards deemed the performance of Oh Leary unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71 Stewards directed that Oh Leary must perform a satisfactory trial all tracks before any future nomination will be accepted.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr. J. Mallon the trainer of Oh Leary regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.

Mister Curtis, Amlin Lad, Diesel Drive and Arvo's Ela were slow to begin.  Sunnyside Blue crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Paua To Punish, Arvo's Ela, Diesel Drive and Amlin Lad.  Sunnyside Blue and Amlin Lad collided on the first turn checking Amlin Lad and Diesel Drive.  Sunnyside Blue and Arvo's Ela collided approaching the home turn checking Arvo's Ela.  Amlin Lad was checked off Sunnyside Blue in the home straight.

Key Stroke was quick to begin.  Allen Indian, All On Black and Powerful Flight were slow to begin.  Rockvel, Modest Ruler and Voodoo Town collided on the first turn checking Voodoo Town and Modest Ruler and causing Voodoo Town to fall checking Powerful Flight.  All On Black veered out and marred Rockvel approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds, All On Black lost ground as a result.

Acting under GAR 69(1)(a) Stewards charged All On Black with marring and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Warragul and directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Knockin' Nowhere and Anna Ray Girl were slow to begin.  Kofi Kaylan was checked off Busby Babe approaching the first turn.  Sonic Barnsey, Aldus Bale and Busby Babe collided on the first turn severely checking Sonic Barnsey and Aldus Bale, Sonic Barnsey was turned sideways and lost ground as a result.  Knockin' Nowhere was checked off Anna Ray Girl on the first turn.  Prince De Galles was checked off Take The Weight approaching the winning post.
