Steward's Report
An out of competition sample was taken from Elswyk Suzie on 16/3/2022 pursuant to GAR 79A.
A pre-race sample was taken from Zippy Customer.
Zippy Customer was slow to begin.
Mt. View Dodger and Zipping Caviar collided approaching the first turn. Elswyk Suzie, Mighty Tuscany and Kingy Lights collided on the first turn checking Kingy Lights. Zipping Caviar galloped on Kingy Lights on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds. Mighty Tuscany and Zippy Customer collided approaching the home turn. Mt. View Dodger and Mighty Tuscany collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight.
It was noted that the muzzle of Kingy Lights became dislodged during the running of the event.
Kingy Lights underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
There was no head on vision of the front straight for this event.
