Love A Collision was slow to begin.

Staines brushed the running rail approaching the first turn.  Shot Gun Pistol faltered on the first turn causing Love A Collision to collide with Shot Gun Pistol, severely checking both greyhounds.

Stewards inspected the track after this event and deemed it safe for racing.

Shot Gun Pistol underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Jasper Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer's request and was found to have a front right foot spike wound.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Crowdza Blest, How High Austin and Aston Nino collided approaching the first turn.  Aston Nino and Almighty Mack collided entering the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr Lui Forte, the trainer of How High Austin and reminded him of his resposibilities to obey the starters directions when boxing his greyhound, pursuant to GAR 51(9).

Our Solitaire, Ruby Runner and Veracruz Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Ruby Runner and Veracruz Bale; Ruby Runner faltered as a result.  Average Axel and Our Solitaire collided approaching the first turn.  Average Axel and Goodbye Ben collided on the first turn checking Average Axel.

Ruby Runner underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Always Diamond turned its head outwards soon after the start.  Always Diamond and Don't Ignore Me collided soon after the start.  Oriental Elsa checked off Soda Ruby approaching the first turn.  Always Diamond checked off Soda Ruby approaching the first turn.  Oriental Elsa checked off Soda Ruby on the first turn.

Everlast Queen underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Always Diamond underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.  Stewards spoke to Mr Michael Ferguson, the trainer of Always Diamond regarding the greyhound’s racing manners soon after the start.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Always Diamond was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr Ferguson pleaded guilty to the charge, Always Diamond was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
