Claretown Maisy brushed the running rail approaching the first turn. Punk Pirate and Horsham Myth collided on the first turn severely checking Punk Pirate, Horsham Myth, Arolok Jimmy, Polly Bale and Black Carbide, Punk Pirate and Horsham Myth fell as a result. Polly Bale checked off Black Carbide approaching the winning post. 

Punk Pirate was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right hamstrings and left triceps and spike wounds to the front and back toes. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Horsham Myth was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right hind leg, both hamstrings and the left quadriceps and spike wounds to the right front paw. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Claretown Maisy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left hamstring. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Viral Bale and Pyrenees Grand collided entering the home straight. House Of Stark crossed to the rail in the home straight checking Jessie Small.

Universal Size crossed to the rail approaching the home turn severely checking Maximum Lil and Benedict Geoff. 

Flying Twist was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right triceps, left wrist, left hamstrings and a spike wound to the left hock. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Benedict Geoff was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right hamstring. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Fearsome Warrior, King Surfa and Bills Back collided soon after the start. Allen Cydan, Micky Mambo and Dyna Ping collided approaching the first turn checking Micky Mambo. Bills Back, Swagzilla and Coconut Drive collided approaching the first turn checking Swagzilla and Fearsome Warrior. Allen Cydan and Dyna Ping collided on the first turn. Swagzilla checked off King Surfa approaching the home turn. King Surfa and Allen Cydan collided several times approaching the winning post checking Allen Cydan.

S. Berriman, trainer of Wood Cutter Stan redeclared a new weight of 34.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Wood Cutter Stan last raced at 33.4kg. 

Hurricane Ash and Elite Faze were quick to begin. 

Dynamo's Gift checked off Empire Allen approaching the first turn. Hurricane Ash and National Time collided approaching the first turn. Galahad checked off Hurricane Ash on the first turn checking Wood Cutter Stan and Dynamo's Gift. Empire Allen crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Hurricane Ash and National Time. Hurricane Ash and National Time collided approaching the home turn checking National Time. Wood Cutter Stan and Dynamo's Gift collided approaching the home turn. National Time and Wood Cutter Stan collided entering the home straight. Dynamo's Gift checked off Hurricane Ash in the home straight.

Jaunty Bale was slow to begin.

Magic Diva crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Dyna Suzie and Flippin' Good. Dyna Suzie, Flippin' Good and Jaunty Bale collided approaching the first turn severely checking Jaunty Bale which contacted the running rail several times as a result. Flippin' Good and Dyna Suzie collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Flippin' Good checked off Dyna Suzie approaching the home turn. 

Jaunty Bale was vetted following the event and revetted 11. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left hamstrings and the left calf and a spike wound to the left hock. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
