Swarm underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Aston Ryker underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have spike wounds on the left and right achilles tendons. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Aston Select underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainers request and was found to have split webbing on the left hind paw. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Aston Rafael and Ellie Bliss were slow to begin. Easy Breezy, Highlighted and Princess Vegas collided soon after the start checking Princess Vegas. The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Irongate with kennel representative Ms R.Simpson and noted their comments.

Lunaray, Road To Cairns and Irongate collided soon after the start checking Road To Cairns. Fashion Icon checked off Aston Remi soon after the start. Itchy Kaala and Aston Remi collided approaching the first turn checking Aston Remi. Lunaray and Road To Cairns collided approaching the home turn. Aston Remi and Irongate collided approaching the home turn.

Irongate underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a injury to the left back muscle and right wrist. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms Rebecca Simpson (via telephone), the representative of Irongate after they left the course today without Stewards permission and without having the greyhound vetted following the event.  Stewards issued Ms Rebecca Simpson with a warning pursuant to GAR 42 (2) and directed to return to the track on the day and get the greyhound vetted.

Mr Brent Merton failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Mountain Stew for racing. A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 46 (2).

Milo Rose, Echo Chamber and Lily Jane collided soon after the start checking Echo Chamber. Mountain Stew, Milo Rose and Lily Jane collided approaching the first turn checking Mountain Stew, Echo Chamber, Lily Jane and Dinkydi Junior. Ishmy Neecy and Chuck Attack collided approaching the home turn checking Ishmy Neecy. Mountain Stew and Echo Chamber collided approaching the home turn checking Echo Chamber. Mountain Stew raced wide entering the home straight.

Stewards conferred with the judge regarding the margin and finishing times for 4th and 5th place between Chuck Attack and Dinkydi Junior. A clear margin of a nose was visible in the photo finish image with the actual finish time for Chuck Attack being 22.8781 compared to 22.8784 for Dinkydi Junior. However, as Fasttrack is limited to three decimal places, both times were automatically rounded to 22.879 and as such no margin is displayed in Fasttrack.
