Zipping Wreck, Zippy Yamaha and Kanji Kilo collided on the first turn, checking Zippy Yamaha and Kanji Kilo. Balt's Flying checked off Indy Korie on the home turn. Chasing Moet checked off Balt's Flying entering the home straight. Indy Korie checked off Brecken Bale entering the home straight, causing Indy Korie to stumble.
Indy Korie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a sand toe right hind leg. No stand down period was imposed.
