Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Awesome Ability.
Bobby Bull Shark was slow to begin.
Poison Sky and Aston Hebe collided approaching the first turn. Awesome Ability and Eileen Jay collided approaching the first turn checking Eileen Jay. Off Centre checked off Awesome Ability approaching the home turn. She's So Sassy shifted out abruptly and collided with Feisty Nikita on the home turn checking both greyhounds. Feisty Nikita and Bobby Bull Shark collided in the home straight. Feisty Nikita, Bobby Bull Shark and She's So Sassy collided several times in the home straight checking all three greyhounds.
She's So Sassy underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Ms Martina Kirillidis regarding the racing manners of She's So Sassy entering the home straight and in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Ms Kirillidis, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight and in the home straight.
