Steward's Report
Reality Starc, Olinda Patsy and Dead Last were slow to begin. He Can Talk and Run Topper collided soon after the start. Inga Harry and Modulating collided approaching the first turn checking Inga Harry. Run Topper and Dead Last collided on the first turn. Reality Starc was checked off Dead Last approaching the home turn. Modulating and He Can Talk collided on the home turn. Modulating and Olinda Patsy collided approaching the winning post.
Modulating underwent a post race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to trainer Ms Lyn Smith after the greyhound performed below market expectation. Ms Smith stated that Modulating had run up to her expectations and the greyhound had performed to his ability. Ms Smith comments were noted. In accordance with GAR 75 (1), the Stewards requested Ms Smith to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Modulating in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
