Afro Boy was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Killshot and Baby collided approaching the first turn. Junior Coin and Baby collided on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds, checking Killshot. Magic Trio and Classy Edition collided on the home turn.

Reality Starc, Olinda Patsy and Dead Last were slow to begin.  He Can Talk and Run Topper collided soon after the start.  Inga Harry and Modulating collided approaching the first turn checking Inga Harry.  Run Topper and Dead Last collided on the first turn.  Reality Starc was checked off Dead Last approaching the home turn.  Modulating and He Can Talk collided on the home turn.  Modulating and Olinda Patsy collided approaching the winning post.

Modulating underwent a post race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to trainer Ms Lyn Smith after the greyhound performed below market expectation. Ms Smith stated that Modulating had run up to her expectations and the greyhound had performed to his ability. Ms Smith comments were noted. In accordance with GAR 75 (1), the Stewards requested Ms Smith to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Modulating in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event. 

Satanic Mikado stumbled at box rise, was slow to begin and lost considerable ground.  Al’s Son and Boom Boom Ciao collided approaching the first turn.  Al’s Son and Starter’s King collided on the first turn severely checking Al’s Son and Bomber‘s Power.

Finniss Flash was slow to begin.  Humanity, Prince Nangana and Bomber’s Train collided soon after the start checking Bomber’s Train.  Symbol For You, Prince Nangana and Humanity collided approaching the first turn checking Symbol For You.  Symbol For You and Humanity raced wide in the home straight.

Migration was quick to begin.  Queen Of Mojo was slow to begin.  Migration crossed in approaching the first turn checking Feel The Thunder.  Kuta Cowboy, Go Nera, Feel The Thunder and Queen Of Mojo collided approaching the first turn checking Kuta Cowboy and Feel The Thunder. Go Nera and Sitizano Rocks collided on the first turn checking Go Nera.  Sitizano Rocks crossed in on the first turn checking Blazing Bandit and Shot Fossil.  Go Nera was checked off Blazing Bandit approaching the home turn.  Queen Of Mojo turned its head outwards in the home straight.

Queen Of Mojo underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound on the right hind foot.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to representative, Mr. P. Pollutro regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B(1), Queen Of Mojo was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Pollutro pleaded guilty to the charge, Queen Of Mojo was found guilty and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69B(1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Madalia Mick and Just Augusta were slow to begin.  Parzival crossed in approaching the first turn checking Rock It Jed.  Madalia Mick and Just Augusta collided on the first turn checking Madalia Mick.  Just A Minute and Just Augusta collided on the home turn.  Dundee Zircon, Just A Minute and Just Augusta collided in the home straight checking Dundee Zircon and Just A Minute.

Rock It Jed underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound on the right hock.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Mikado Gal; a post race sample was subsequently taken.

Grumpy Al crossed in approaching the first turn checking Fairytale Bliss.  Mikado Gal and King Of All collided on the first turn checking Mikado Gal.  Beta Days Ahead and King Of All collided approaching the home turn and again in the home straight.  Why Not Lilah and Fairytale Bliss raced wide in the home straight.
