Frank's Flyer was quick to begin. Hornsey's Angel was slow to begin.
Slipaway Mavis, Blue Noise and Ride The Rails collided soon after the start checking Slipaway Mavis. Subway, Cosmic Station and Blue Noise collided on the first turn checking Subway and Blue Noise and severely checking Cosmic Station and Slipaway Mavis. Hornsey's Angel checked off Subway approaching the home turn. Kiss And Tell and Ride The Rails collided several times approaching the home turn and again on the home turn checking Kiss And Tell. Slipaway Mavis raced wide entering the home straight.
