Steward's Report
Essential persons (both staff and participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings, wore face masks, observed social distance requirements and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.
A pre-race sample was taken from Irving.
Riverdale Poppy and Zambora Crystal collided soon after the start checking Zambora Crystal. Riverdale Poppy, Zambora Crystal, Irving and Ludgate collided soon after the start checking Irving and Zambora Crystal. Riverdale Poppy and Zambora Crystal collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Kenzo Fernando and Ludgate collided approaching the home turn. Zambora Crystal, Kenzo Fernando and Ludgate collided on the home turn checking Zambora Crystal, Kenzo Fernando and Ludgate causing Kenzo Fernando to fall checking Irving.
Kenzo Fernando underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right deltoid muscle injury and a right shoulder injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
